DAY 23 - A book you wanted to read for a long time but still haven't

I started keeping track of my books and "to read" shelf almost a year ago.  According to this 2 books were added to the "to read" shelf on the same day and have been there ever since.  

"Sharp Objects" (as I mentioned in a previous post) is one I really do want to read, but the depression I felt after "Dark Places" continues to kinda haunt me. I need to get on past it and just read this book, but for me when another more enjoyable book pops up this one lands on the back burner.

The second added that day is "The Twelve (Passage #2)".  I truly enjoyed the first book and am not quite sure why I have not started the second. Perhaps the journey was such a long one and while I enjoyed the read, I was worn out.  I have 10 plus books (that I am anxiously awaiting) on my list that are sequels and that I will purchase and likely start on the day of their release...guess that in itself tells me that while I enjoyed "The Passage" I must not have really loved it.  Who knows.
