4.5 StarsThat was just tasty...and honestly perhaps my favorite of the series. Less heartbreak than book 1...a little bit of angst but honestly not much...a little drama yes, but overall just yummy goodness.
I have to say...I am a sucker for a love at first sight story so this series just affects me in all the right ways. And throw in a supportive mother and I am a freaking mess.
“Well, honey, he’s been smitten with you since the first time he laid eyes on you. It was obvious to everyone but the two of you.”
“But not obvious from the very start—”
“Yes, baby. From the first time I watched the two of you together at dinner, I knew. Both of you were so cute, trying to pretend you couldn’t care less whether the other one was even in the room or not. It was all Avery and I could do to keep a straight face.”

One of the highlights of this book is the culmination of all characters, from Book 1 and 2 at the end and a fantastic set up for Book 3. So excited for Liam and Blake's story.

He reaches out to smudge the icing on my cheek with his index finger, then puts it into his mouth. The sight of his lips wrapped sinfully around his finger, moving subtly as he sucks the icing off, does something to my insides.

I guess my brain is so jangled from the sight of him that I forget who the fuck I even am, because when I open my mouth, some epically stupid shit comes out.
“Damn, that’s hot,” I breathe. “We can go ahead and bag that up.”
"You think?” Dan asks without missing a beat. He turns his back to me, cocking a hip out and looking at me over his shoulder. At the same time he bites his bottom lip and hooks a thumb in the belt loop of the already low- slung cargo pants, deliberately pulling them down enough to show me a little bit of bare ass. Then he turns and walks back to the dressing room like he has no idea he’s just caused a wet spot in my boxers.
